The Swedish Prison and Probation Service is growing – we are building new, renovating, and expanding, and we are now looking for more employees. Our most important goal is to reduce recidivism – to break the vicious cycle. If we succeed, society will be safer and more secure for everyone. We are the authority responsible for prisons, probation, remand, and client transport.

The positions are temporary and located in the operational HR unit within the recruitment group at the regional office in Härnösand, with the possibility of remote agreements.

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are now looking for a driven and committed recruitment specialist who is passionate about finding the right person for the right place! You will largely focus on volume recruitment of correctional officers, but also recruit for other exciting and important roles.

You will support managers throughout all or parts of the recruitment process, publish ads, make selections, conduct interviews, perform security checks, and everything else that is part of a recruitment process. The Swedish Prison and Probation Service works with competency-based recruitment and as a government agency, we base our recruitment on merit and skill. We also conduct security checks.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has:

• A degree in HR or a related field, or other education combined with experience that the Swedish Prison and Probation Service deems equivalent
• Knowledge of and experience in competency-based recruitment
• Experience in all parts of the recruitment process
• Experience working with qualified system support, e.g., recruitment systems
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

It is an advantage if you have:

• Experience in volume recruitment
• Experience in recruitment within the Swedish Prison and Probation Service
• Experience in recruiting security-classified positions
• Experience with Visma Recruit
• Experience working in a consultative supportive role
• A valid driver's license (B)

OTHER

We have high demands on our employees' security and confidentiality awareness. To work with us, you need to undergo a security check in accordance with the Security Protection Act. The position is classified in a security class, and a security check including a security interview with a background check will be conducted before a hiring decision is made.
